BRAND TERMS OF USE

These Terms apply to all brands, agencies, and advertisers (“Brand,” “You”) using CAMp (Clip Africa Market Place) Africa’s managed clipping marketplace to run campaigns, upload content, or pay creators/clippers across South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana. CAMp is a product of Prime Lens Studios (Pty) Ltd. By creating a campaign or uploading assets, you agree to these Terms.

Last Updated: 27 August 2026

Platform fees: Clipping \u2014 Verified Brands pay 8.5%, Non-Verified Brands pay 10%. UGC \u2014 12% (verified brands only, min CPM 60). Brand KYC requires Business Registration Documents, ID documents of Directors, and Proof of Business Address.

1ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS

1.1 You must provide accurate business information when creating your Brand or Agency account on CAMp, including a valid company registration number and contact email.

1.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

1.3 You may not impersonate a brand unless you hold explicit written authorisation to act on that brand’s behalf.

1.4 CAMp may suspend or remove accounts for violations, fraud, chargebacks, or abusive behaviour toward creators/clippers or staff.

1.5 LEGAL COMPLIANCE: By using CAMp, you represent that your business, products, services, and all campaign content comply with all applicable laws and regulations in every market in which you operate or in which your campaigns may be viewed. This includes advertising standards, consumer protection, and financial regulations in South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana.

2KYC VERIFICATION

2.1 To run campaigns and build trust with creators/clippers, brands submit Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification through CAMp (Clip Africa Market Place). Verification is optional but unlocks a verified badge and a reduced platform fee.

2.2 Brand KYC requires the following documents: (a) Business Registration Documents, (b) ID documents of Directors, and (c) Proof of Business Address. Bank confirmations are not required for brands.

2.3 A verified badge is granted once CAMp approves your KYC submission. Verified brands are charged an 8.5% platform fee; non-verified brands are charged a 10% platform fee. Your fee tier is locked in at the moment a campaign is created.

2.4 CAMp may reject a KYC submission and request re-upload if documents are illegible, expired, or inconsistent with the business information on file.

3CAMPAIGN STRUCTURE

3.1 When you launch a Campaign, you choose a category — Clipping or UGC — and define your payout structure (CPM, the payout per 1,000 views). For Clipping campaigns you upload a source video and brief; for UGC campaigns creators/clippers produce original content from your brief (no source video). CAMp operates on a CPM (cost-per-mille) model — cost-per-acquisition (CPA) campaigns are not supported.

3.1.1 UGC campaigns are available to verified brands only. The minimum CPM for a UGC campaign is 60 (in your campaign market’s currency).

3.3 All campaign requirements — content rules, format guidelines, approval criteria, deliverables, deadlines, and the Top-4 editing guide — must be clearly documented in the campaign brief and fields on CAMp. Requirements not documented within the platform are not enforceable.

3.4 You may only reject a clip submission based on requirements stated in your campaign brief on CAMp. Rejections based on instructions given through external channels (WhatsApp, email, DMs) are invalid and may result in auto-approval of pending submissions.

3.5 CAMp may decline or remove any campaign for policy violations, legal concerns, or platform integrity at its sole discretion.

4CAMPAIGN FUNDING, FEES & PAYOUT POOL

4.1 Your campaign budget funds creator/clipper payouts directly. A campaign must be paid for before it is activated. Once paid and approved by an admin, the campaign goes live.

4.2 CAMp deducts a platform fee from your budget at creation. Clipping campaigns: verified brands pay 8.5%, non-verified brands pay 10%. UGC campaigns: a flat 12% fee (verified brands only). The remaining payout pool (91.5%, 90%, or 88% respectively) is reserved entirely for creator/clipper earnings.

4.3 Clippers earn from the payout pool based on verified views against your CPM rate, subject to the minimum view threshold and per-clipper maximum cap you configure. Once the payout pool is exhausted, the campaign ends and no further earnings are generated.

4.4 CAMp reserves the right to set and enforce minimum and maximum campaign budgets. Minimum CPM rates apply per market and category: R20 (South Africa), ₦1,000 (Nigeria) and GH₵50 (Ghana) for Clipping; 60 (in market currency) for UGC. These are evaluated before a campaign goes live and are not changed for an active campaign.

4.5 CAMp may close a campaign to new clipper submissions once it reaches 90% payout-pool utilisation, to protect creators/clippers from submissions that cannot be fully compensated.

5CLIP REVIEW & AUTO-APPROVAL

5.1 You have seven (7) days from submission to approve, reject, or request changes to a clip in your first-pass review. Approved clips then advance to CAMp admin compliance review before the creator/clipper can log views. If you take no action within seven days, the submission is automatically approved (auto-approval) and advances to admin review. Approved submissions are effective retrospectively from the submission date.

5.2 You may appeal an auto-approved submission within fourteen (14) days if you discover malpractice or a policy violation. Appeals require documented evidence (e.g. a view-log proof video).

5.3 If a dispute is opened, the related payout is frozen until CAMp reviews and issues a binding decision within five (5) business days.

5.4 Clipper view logs require a six-step verification checklist and a proof video. CAMp may audit reported view counts; fraudulent reporting forfeits earnings and affects the clipper’s Trust Score.

6TRUST SCORE & CREATOR/CLIPPER STANDING

6.1 Each clipper carries a Trust Score reflecting submission quality, payout history, and view-log integrity. Brands may consider the Trust Score when reviewing submissions.

6.2 Upon campaign removal, pending submissions from creators/clippers with a Trust Score of 80% or above are auto-approved and paid from the payout pool. Submissions from creators/clippers below 80% continue through the standard seven-day review window.

6.3 CAMp may adjust Trust Scores for proven malpractice. Repeated invalid rejections by a brand may impact the brand’s account standing.

7PROHIBITED BEHAVIOUR

7.1 You may not use CAMp campaigns to redirect, funnel, or encourage creators/clippers to sign up for any external platform or competing service, or to collect creator/clipper contact information to market external services.

7.2 Prohibited actions include requiring creators/clippers to create accounts on external websites to participate, redirecting them to competitor platforms, or using CAMp as a lead-generation tool for competing creator/clipper marketplaces.

7.3 Violation of this section results in immediate campaign removal, account termination, forfeiture of remaining budget, and a permanent ban from CAMp.

7.4 You may not run campaigns for prohibited categories, including illegal drugs, weapons, unregulated gambling, counterfeit goods, or content that incites hate or violence.

8PAUSE, CLOSURE & REFUNDS

8.1 You may request to pause a campaign by contacting CAMp support. You may not pause a campaign to delay creator/clipper payouts for already-approved submissions — approved submissions are paid regardless of campaign status.

8.2 To withdraw remaining unspent budget, submit a request through CAMp support. Processing takes 5–7 business days and is subject to the refund policy below.

8.3 Upon campaign removal or completion, approved creator/clipper payouts remain valid. Remaining unspent budget may be refunded minus the applicable platform fee already deducted.

9REFUND POLICY

9.1 Refunds are not instant. All refund requests must be submitted through CAMp support and are subject to manual review.

9.2 The platform fee is non-refundable once a campaign has been activated, as it covers campaign setup, KYC processing, and platform operations.

9.3 Refunds of unspent payout-pool budget are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.

9.4 Refunds are denied for campaigns removed due to your breach of these Terms, fraud, or policy violations.

10PAYMENTS, CURRENCY & TAX

10.1 Campaign budgets and creator/clipper payouts are processed in the currency of the campaign market — South African Rand (ZAR) for SA campaigns, Nigerian Naira (NGN) for NG campaigns, and Ghanaian Cedi (GHS) for GH campaigns.

10.2 Brands are responsible for any applicable VAT or tax obligations arising from their campaigns. CAMp does not remit taxes on your behalf.

10.3 Clipper payouts are batched and processed on a regular schedule by CAMp admins. Payouts to clippers are released only once their KYC is verified.

11CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

11.1 You retain ownership of source assets you upload. By launching a campaign, you grant clippers a limited licence to edit, remix, and repost your content for the campaign across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

11.2 You are responsible for ensuring you hold the rights to all assets you upload and that campaign content does not infringe third-party IP.

11.3 CAMp is not liable for the content of creator/clipper-generated clips, but will act on documented IP or policy violations.

12LIABILITY & TERMINATION

12.1 CAMp provides a managed marketplace and is not liable for the performance, reach, or conversion outcomes of any campaign. We facilitate matching, escrow, and payouts.

12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAMp’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the platform fee collected on the related campaign.

12.3 We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, approved creator/clipper payouts remain valid and the unspent budget is handled per Section 8.

13CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

13.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active brands. Continued use of CAMp after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13.2 Fee tiers, CPM floors, and KYC requirements in effect at campaign creation apply to that campaign for its lifetime, unless required by law.
